WhyWeight is a 2 Phase workshop designed to help you develop a lasting, intuitive, healthy relationship with food and lose weight in the process. The work you do in this workshop will enable you to break the bondage of compulsive eating, roller coaster dieting, late-night grazing, and plate cleaning. You will learn to control emotional eating and be free of overwhelming food thoughts and anxiety.
WhyWeight is NOT a diet. It is a real and lasting solution. It is a balanced, relaxed, reasonable way of being with food and your body.
Freedom to live peacefully and intuitively with food and your body is possible. In fact, it is how you were meant to live; it is your birthright.
The goal of WhyWeight is freedom:
- freedom to enjoy food rather than be controlled by it
- freedom to think about living rather than weight, food and diets
- freedom to live in your body at a healthy, consistent weight for a lifetime, not slowed down by extra pounds
- freedom to trust yourself and your body rather than following restrictive diet rules
The truth is – you can trust your body. It will show you how to eat. As surely as your body tells you when to go to the bathroom or when you need sleep, it will tell you when, how and what you would like to eat in order to be well.
We live in a crazy food culture today. Food and food messages are everywhere! That is not going to change so WE have to change. We can be around food and respond sanely and reasonably to it.
Eating when you are truly hungry and stopping when you are satisfied is beautifully freeing. Soon you will wonder why you over-ate and thought you enjoyed it.
